This agreement is between you and Corperland Ltd (RC 7723671), a company registered in Nigeria. It covers the Corperland app at app.corperland.ng and the Corperland apps for iPhone and Android, which we call "the app" below. By signing in or using the app you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The short version

You can use the app for yourself, on devices you own or control. Do not copy it, take it apart or use it for anything unlawful, and only upload documents that are genuine and that you have the right to share.

What you upload stays yours. Paying is covered by the terms of service and getting money back by the refund policy. This summary is here to help you find your way. The sections below are what you agree to.

What the app does

The app is for people taking part in the NYSC scheme and those about to. In it you can:

  • apply for NERD clearance through us and upload the documents your application needs
  • buy and take courses
  • browse the job board, including openings that suit a place of primary assignment
  • read the Information Hub
  • get push notifications about your applications, orders and account

Paying for NERD or a course is covered by our terms of service, and getting money back by our refund policy. This agreement does not repeat them.

Your account

You sign in with a code we send to your email address, or with your Google or Apple account. Keep access to that email address or account to yourself, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what is done in the app under your account.

Give us true details. If something about you changes, update it.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use and only as this agreement allows.

What you must not do

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, distribute or make derivative works from the app
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the app's source code
  • use the app for anything unlawful or not authorised
  • interfere with or disrupt how the app works, or try to reach parts of it you have no access to
  • transfer, sublicense or assign your rights under this agreement
  • upload documents that are not yours, or that are false or altered

Documents you upload

Documents and details you upload, such as those for a NERD application, stay yours. You let us use them to provide the service you asked for. You are responsible for making sure they are genuine and that you have the right to share them. How we handle them is set out in our privacy policy.

Notifications

The app can send push notifications to your phone. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.

Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our privacy policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it and how we protect it.

Changes to the app and this agreement

We may change the app or this agreement at any time. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated agreement. If you do not agree to it, stop using the app.

Ending this agreement

  • We may suspend or end your access to the app at any time without notice if you break this agreement.
  • You may end this agreement by stopping all use of the app.
  • When this agreement ends, the rights it gave you end with it.

The app stores

If you got the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, this agreement is between you and Corperland Ltd only, not Apple or Google. We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for the app and its support. Your use of the app must also follow the rules of the store you got it from. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will run without interruption or errors.

Limit of our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of the app or your inability to use it.

Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to this agreement will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court that has jurisdiction.

Everything else

This agreement, together with the terms of service, refund policy and privacy policy it links to, is the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If any part of it is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
